Breach of promise. Girl doesn’t have a written proof of promise.

My friend had a relationship with a girl for 5 years(long-distamce). They got physical(consensual). It was college love life.For the past 1.5 years they were not meeting, only calls were happening. This year, the girl's parents are looking for her marriage. As she is getting old, her parents are in a rush. Hence, she met my friend's dad. Talked about marriage, cried...Dad said he won't allow inter-cast marriage. Society will ostracize them...Can my friend get arrested? What can he do to prevent?

Probably police can lodge FIR against men for rape but men can take bail from the honrable court and there is full chance to get bail easily . Accused’s friend or family have to show photos of couple and have to give evidence that both men and women was in relationship
