Blackmailing via mail asking for 1 lac rs

Hello sir/ madam I had a deal we one property owner for buying his flat then we planned to cancel the deal due to some issues. I given him 1 lac cheque as advance token amount on 1st sep 2021. On 9th we informed him over call we are not interested in your property for same we sent a mail to him . As amount was not debited from my account and I want to cancel the deal I did stop payment of my cheque through net banking. Now that person is blackmailing me by mail if you are not pay 1 lac rs in 15 days he will file cheque bounce criminal case against me. I am very stressful and felling mentally harressed because of all this issues. Please help me .

Then you can stop the payment and give this police complaints against him later police will arrest him you can register criminals case against him 420 cheating with you bett immediately you can file fir before he file 138nia act

Dear Sir, You have done best thing by giving instructions to stop payment to your bankers. The builder may not file cheque bounce case since Court expenses and Advocate fees will be more than amount claimed. Just ignore his calls. Nothing to worry.
