Blackmailing and posing threat to file a case.

My friends girlfriend is blackmailing him to follow all her conditions and orders provided to him by her. If he fails to follow all the conditions then she is blackmailing him that she will file a case against him. In this case how can he protect himself?

File a FIR against her in the nearest police station giving all particular details regarding criminal intimidation and whatever threats she is giving. Once a FIR is registered, a criminal case will be registered and initiated against her. Further in the FIR mention it clearly that she is threatening of filing false cases against him.
