Blackmail of fir by girl to get married with me

I met girl in bus while traveling later we started talking. We had sex chat and calls on irregular intervals. I used to avoid meeting up with her even if i say i will meet while doing such chats. I was threatened once bcoz she came to my office. I dropped her back to her living area. She said i want to die and all bcoz i said to stop contact. She still used to msg me after that. I was bit scared and started to having same chat again but i told her that this does not mean anything to me and nothing abt marriage. She somehow knew abt my engagement will happen with another girl. She went to police to threaten me. Cops said handle with families. My parents met her parents but they r only saying that our girl wasted one year, lets get them married. She has my chat records and call records. No physical things or commit to marriage has happened. What to do now.

you can straight away give a complaint for extortion by blackmailing to start with. so that tomorrow if you she files a complaint againat you, you'll have a prior complaint already on record and that will serve as a defense her case. failing to take advance precautions will result in a 376 case being filed against you

Hello! The only way out of this would be you filing a mental harrassment complaint on her. Also there is high possibility, of that girl ruining your married life later. Or you should try and make her parents understand the situation.

Well Boy, you are safe. Do not worry. If you would have indulged in Sex with her on the pretext of Marriage, she could have filed a Rape Case against you. Since you had neither committed to marry her nor indulged in sex or penetration, you are safe. As such Sexual Chats which you have done with her were consensual & important fact is that parallely, you have made her understood several times that you would not marry her. Be more cautious in future, luck will not always by your side every time.
