before FIR police called and release accuse upon a letter and surety

before filing of FIR, police called the accuse and then released by taking a letter a written letter with 4 persons surety by taking photographs of all. It is a legal menthod of release, police can produce that letter and photograph in court? Can court take it as evidence?

check whether fir registered or not police might have filed petty case agaisnt them released , police doesn't have power to grant the bail as per the criminal procedure and hope even your Complaint not have any prima facie case so police have taken this step ,

Dear sir /madam In bailable offences police can give bail to the accused and it is legal . if it is non bailable offence they will produce the accused before the court or he will be released if he had obtained anticipatory bail. please check FIR to know weather the offence
