Approaching Supreme Court Or high court With Writ Of Mandamus

A complainant filed a criminal complaint with the DCP in the Delhi Police 2 years ago but local police officials put the matter on ice. Can he approach or go for writ of mandamus. He does not want to file 156-3

Hello there, If only criminal complaint is filed and the charges are not much serious then police does not take action. If charges are severe then police can take action. Furthet, if the complainant wishes to go to court for filing 156(3) it is his perrogative. It's the complainant choice. You can contact if further solution is required. Thank you.

hello client as i can see your issue is seems to be very serious matter . as youb have described the mattee here is really a very good Matter writ juridiction to act on the complaint proper action so that the required . so in this matter you should go with writ for getting justice.

No. There is no way to do this. Filing of 156(3) is the only option available. The supreme court judgments are very clear that a writ petition is not maintainable in such a case. The power of 156(3) has been specifically designated for this purpose.
