Applying for my passport and visa
03-Aug-2024 (In Criminal Law)
I have booked under ipc section 509, 506, 354(d). My case is under trial in district court. It is only 1 year old case. The proof is my abusive messeges and mails to her. And i am in bail currently. I want to go outside india with my company expense for a trip. Will i get passport for this work? I am in confusion. Kindly give me clear explanation or any chances?
As per GSR (570E)Dated 25.8.1993 notification a passport can be issued even if criminal case is pending in any court. The authority cannot refuse to issue it. It is a settled law of Apex court and other High courts as well. U should approach and file a writ petition for seeking necessary directions. Contact me for any help.
