Appeal in high court for bail regarding criminal case

06-Oct-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Hello ! My nephew has been sentenced guilty under section 376 for 10 years in the trial court. He was on a bail for 2 years but also spent 4-5 months in prison before. After filing an appeal, how long will it take to get him out on a bail. Since, the DNA report is in his favour. The trial court judge gave his decision solely based upon the testimony of the prosecutrix. When can I expect him to come out? Also, how long does it take for a case to get closed in the PUNJAB and haryana high court? When can I expect him to get rid of all the charges that he had been framed to.

if the DNA report is in your favour the court can grant bail till the final hearing of the matter. File appeal in the High court along with a bail application. if bail is denied by the high court, you can file SLP in the Supreme Court against the order of the High Court. if you need any assistance in Supreme Court then you may Contact me, I am a Supreme Court lawyer.
