Any provison for private complaint before HC?

30-Dec-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Is there any provision for a private complaint before HC much like a provision for private complaint before a magistrate under CRPC 200. The matter of the complaint is interstate and therefore I want that on examination of such complaint if any directions emerge it could be enforced on a court in another state. If there is no such provision please suggest any equivalent remedy by way of writ etc.

There is no such provision per se in Cr PC. However, at times different remedies can be resorted to depending on the facts of the case like writ jurisdiction.

It depends on what exactly is your grievance and what is your target.

there are two options available with you one is to go High Court under article 226 or you may go to supreme court. it always advisable to high court first and then come supreme court. This is partial suggestion with partial available information so I would suggest in case if you are serious in persuing your case please meet and take advice.

Sir you can very well approach the High Court of any State by virtue of a writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India wherein if any of your fundamental or legal right has been infringed and if your are able to show the same to the Hon'ble High Court then they will hear the same and appropriate directions can be made as per your prayer in the form of issuance of writ of mandamus.

for that we will have to see what kind of facts are involved at hand. because not everything under the sky is a subject matter of a writ. however if your case falls under some particular category it can still be taken to hc.
