in a vigilance case against gov. servent. is compromise is possible?

Vigilance cases cover crimes against the society and the prosecution is the state. If the complainant is a private aggrieved person then there may be a possibility for compromise. Otherwise, compromise is not an option. Depending on the nature of the crime approaching the complainant may not be a good idea.
