All money withdrawn by son while mother was hospitalized

What legal action can be taken on the son so that he gets punished rightfully and the money is returned to the senior citizen.

Well, being a Senior Citizen, you can file a case against your Son to seek punishment from him and to seek return of money from him and adequate monetary compensation under The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, which ensures that senior citizens are not abused by their children. If they have already transferred their property to their children on condition that they will be looked after, and if the children fail to keep their promise to do so, such transfers can be made void.
