ACTION AGAINST MY WIFE FOR HITTING GIRL CHILD

MY WIFE HAS BEEN PHYSICALLY AND VERBALLY ABUSING MY 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. HAVE VIDEO RECORDING OF THE SAME. HAVE APPROACHED VANRAI POLICE STATION THRICE WITH MY DAUGHTER. POLICE HAS JUST CALLED MY WIFE AND EXPLAINED. NO ACTION TAKEN BY THE POLICE. SHE IS NOW MENTALLY HARASSING US. SHE DOES NOT EVEN WANT TO GIVE A DIVORCE. NEED HELP.

Well, It seems your Wife is either mentally unstable or she has been intentionally hitting your and her child, her intent needs to be figured out. As far as no action from Police's end is concerned, your Complaint needs to contain Cognizable Offences, then, the Police become eligible to arrest and investigation the case, that means, then the Police in your case would become eligible to arrest your wife if she has been intentionally harming the child or Police will send her to mental asylum if she has become mentally unstable.
