Accused of shoplifting at store by my daughter

30-Jul-2024 (In Criminal Law)
My Daughter 16 years old, while billing at a local store missed two items( out of 6 ) to be presented at the counter. Now they are saying it is an act of shoplifting and I pay 15000 for an item that cost rs 200 or they will file a FIR. What is the position I can take? My Child has acknowledged that she made a mistake and did not properly take care to take everything out of the bag she was carrying( it was our household bag, not the store basket ).
