Accused absconded, can police arrest bailor
No,only bail bond forfeited.
When an accused person on bail fails to attend Court as required, the following consequences follow:
>The DPP/PO would apply to the Court to issue a warrant of arrest against the accused.
>The surety would then be asked to show cause why the surety bond he had executed for the appearance of the accused should not be forfeited.

No . Under no circumstances Police can arrest the bailor. The bail , bailor and accused are subject matter of court and not of police. Even the court while declaring the accused who is on bail , as an absconder, can not make direction to arrest the bailor.
