about making a false complaint by someone

I have been residing in Indore for the last 8 months, I have just come to the village on Diwali, so I came to know that our neighbor has filed a false complaint against me, while I did not come here for the last 8 months. What option do you have in these conditions?

on what grounds the false complaint has been registered try to get a copy of that from the police station in which that complaint has been filed filing an RTI application also you can register complaint against against that person you can also send legal notice to that person asking him to withdraw the complaint otherwise you will take legal action against .
