A mental person, demeaning me because of my caste (SC)

My would be uncle in law is a mental patient, have heard he is bipolar patient. He is calling me with demaning names because of my caste, harassing me, one time he came home and demeaned my caste to my parents.
What can be done? he is calling me with low caste names, he is abusing me. He intimidates me.
do not get dissuaded by the mental faculty of a person because in law what matters is the mental capacity of a person at the time of doing an offence. it prima facie appears that the accused has enough mental culpability in executing the alleged offence and that would be the cause of his nemesis. you are hereby advised to pursue appropriate legal remedies against the culprit.

The best response to this situation would be to redirect your uncle to a counselor for therapy. And if such a path is not possible then legally you can take different steps from temporary restraining order to other permanent and long term steps which would be best described by your advocate in person only after consulting the gravity of the situation
