498A-Case Settled in Lok adalat- How to quash FIR

If accussed are aquitted from 498a case by mutual settlement via lok adalat. Is it posaible to quash the FIR. If not what happens to FIR after aquittal. I am asking this queation as even after aquittal there my be FIR seen on names of accused which might pose isaues time and again on employment,immigration related things etc. All the times one has to explain things to authorities and furnish the copy of the judgement. Is there any way out of this.
collect copy from court that your case is settled and submit this copy ar Police station then your fir copy is quashed if u r not providing the court copy to police station it won't be quashed, approach to advocate he will help you quashing your fir and after quashing Fir u need not worry for your employment and immigration
