498a acquitted- case for malacious prosecution

16-Mar-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Dear Learned Friends. My wife filed 498a against me, my brother, his wife and my mother in 2006. In the year 2006 I took anticipatory bail and furnished it to police station and court. Post that I did not attend court till 2016 and complainent also did not pursue as she eloped with somebody. In 2016 she came back and sensing I am doing well in career to harass me she started pursing the case. I was arrested in 2016 as there was warrent in court since I was not appearing. I was sent to JC for 5 days. Since 2016 complainent actively pursuing the case by appointing private lawyer, giving evidence etc. March 12 2021 I got acquitted. My question is can I file a suit for malacious prosecution in my case? Will failure to appear in the case from 2006-2016 without valid reason will back fire on me? I have cc TV footage where in 2017 she came to my office in front of my colleagues she abused me. I have a footage too where she came to my flat and abused me in front of other flat owners
