Sir i was booked for wrong side driving for 279..Sir now my company is aking for a police verification..Sir will the 279 case affect my police certification... Please advice me.
Yes Indeed. If a Police Verification is initiated, your Criminal Case u/s 279 of IPC will be reflected. I would advise you to first finish your Criminal Case and then initiate a Verification. You also have the remedy to file a Criminal Writ Petition u/s 482 of CRPC for Quashing of the case to finish the case immediately. After which you can initiate your Verification.

279 is for rash and negligent driving which cause danger to others health. so it is serious matter. if on remand u r presented before court and u hv paid fine amount it amount to that u hv agreed for crime u done. so it affect on ur police verification. and if u not paid fine and choose to face case, it will depend on judgment.
therefore it's better to fight in the court.
