160 CrPC notice to a person residing in different State

A FIR Under section 498A and 406 of IPC has been registered against me and my family at Shahdara, Delhi. However, I am residing at Faridabad Haryana. The IO keep on calling and threatening me of securing my presence by issuing 160 CrPC Notice. However, when I read 160 CrPC, I found that it states that Police Officer can only secure presence of a witness residing under his jurisdiction or jurisdiction of nearby police station. I have two questions in this regards:-
1. Can Police officer issue summons to me under section 160 CrPC?
2. If not, and he still does issue me summons, What should be my course of action?

2.in non issuance of summons to you then you have to urgently apply for anticepatory bail uergently. as well as you have to hire an advocate to look after you case

Yes the police officer can issue summons under section 160 crpc against you assuring that you join the investigation in his jurisdiction.
If you don’t join the investigation a legal action can arise against you as fir has already been registered.
