Requirement of Marriage Certificate


30-May-2026 (In Court Marriage Law)
My Marriage was held on 07.05.2026 at Ram Mandir, Odisha. But due to my Time Constraint I couldnot make my Marriage Certificate there in Odisha. I working in Bank of Baroda and posted in Gandhinagar since 2022. Can some one help me in preparing Marriage Certificate at Gandhinagar .

Yes, you can absolutely register your marriage in Gandhinagar. Legally, a marriage can be registered either where it was performed or where either spouse has resided for at least 30 days. Since you have been posted and living in Gandhinagar since 2022, you meet the residential criteria. You will need to apply to the local Registrar of Marriages / Municipal Corporation.
