Court Marriage Registration Update

I have done court marriage in sept23 in gajiyabad.Now I want to update my marriage date to nov 2025.
Once your court marriage is solemnized and a marriage certificate is issued by the Marriage Registrar, the date mentioned on the certificate cannot be changed or updated later. That date is the legally recognized date of marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954.
If you wish to celebrate your marriage or perform a religious/social ceremony later (for example, in November 2025), you can certainly do so, but the official marriage date in government records will remain September 2023.
You may, however, apply for a duplicate or reissued certificate in case of clerical errors (like spelling mistakes), but the date of solemnization cannot be altered.
