Is registration necessary for a start up?

Is it necessary to register my startup right in the beginning or can we do it later? I want to sign NDA and hire people for work, can i do it without registering?

it is advisable to get your startup registered since it will be beneficial to you, personally. if the people you hire are working in the name of the company, the company cannot be shown to be non-existent and may amount to apprehension of fraud from your end

Yes, you can start hiring people and get NDA signed with them. However it is advisable to first register your Company/firm so that the NDA can be signed between employees and the Company or else once the Company is registered you may again need to get it signed with the employees.
