Forced Undertaking on Rs 10 Stamp Paper

05-Sep-2023 (In Corporate Law)
I and my last Client started a Business by creating an IT Firm. The company was formed in March 2018 on a assurance that my partner would meet all expenses along with a monthly compensation to me of Rs 60k. Later on i came to learn that , My Number of Shares in Company and certain personal information ( email id & phone No ) in my DSc was of someone else . When asked , they denied responding and blamed me for non performance of company . They made me wait till 11 pm in night and took a forced undertaking and making me liable for certain amount of Rs. I did not gave the cheque against it. Now they are threating me for legal actions . What should i do ?

Such forced undertaking is not permissible under law. If they take any legal action against you, you can object the same that undertaking was taken forcefully along with admissible evidences. you can also take action in IPC for such their forceful action.
