Employer threatening for termination

19-Oct-2023 (In Corporate Law)
Sir/Madam I am working in Company since 01 August 2014 in Mumbai based company in Ramban Jammu & Kashmir(Construction Project) and now i how submitted resignation on 12 Oct 2019 and on 30 days notice till 11 November 2019.During working at company on April 2016 some workers entered our office and later they launched case i already got exemption. But in resignation letter i write line"As and when in future when honorable court call me for appearance in that case complete financial liability for attending hearing (Total working days lost+travel expenses) will be fully paid by company. Now Company DGM sending me threatening through other people orally that change your resignation and remove that line otherwise i will terminate you through false reason and your career will finish. We will give you travelling expenses and not give you lost working days but you do not write anything. I have fear that in future company advocate will remove my exemption.

Well, When you are a Witness of a particular Crime & when your presence is required in court in cases pursued by a Public Prosecutor in Criminal Cases & in Civil Cases by a Government Pleader as a witness to testify or for Example in Chief/Cross Examination, the Court gives you the expenses i.e travelling expenses + compensation for your food + your income which you have not earned for that particular day. So, it doesn't matter whether company gives you the expenses or not, you'll get from the court and it is your right.
