Clarification on procedure for registering private company

08-Jan-2023 (In Corporate Law)
I've registered a Private Ltd company at Home address, I am planning to setup an office at home. Do I need to register it somewhere to operate legally and what would be the process fee? Please Advise!

You will have to give the address of your office as required by the Articles of Association and Memorandum of Understanding. You may designate a part of your Home as your office. You can apprise it to the address and authority where your company is registered and inquire whether any additional condition is required to be met. It should not be a problem. You should inform Electricity, Revenue departments since their rates for residential, office, commercial are different.

No you need not register it at home other place in order to operate legally
there are no constraints in having the registered as well as working office of the company at home.
for the fee past you can probably approach a local lawyer or Ca or cs or the register they would guide you better.

there is no need to worry about it you just have to apply online for a change in address along with an affidavit mentioning the reasons and also the new address and all the necessary details related to the company
