Can a startup terminate woman employee's employment

Hi, Can a startup or a well established company terminate or sack a woman employee? Especially when the woman is back from her maternity leave?
Off course u can terminate women employee or any other employee by serving Notice or by paying Notice period payout , along with a justified reason. Any company can terminate any employee by giving proper compensation.
Termination of an employee is governed by the terms and conditions of appointment letter and labour laws applicable to workers. It depends to which category your employment falls. if you are worker than your termination will be governed by the Industrial disputes act otherwise it will be governed by the appointment letter. but in any case there can not be any termination unilaterally. such termination is amenable to challenge before the court.
