Wrong SMS sent by IRCTC saying train is cancelled

Dear Team,
My parents had a confirmed ticket in a train from Mumbai to my hometown, received an incorrect sms message saying the train is cancelled. Since they had to travel back to my hometown, they booked premium tatkal tickets and had to travel early morning and to their surprise the sheets provided by the train attendents were very dirty along with uncleaned stains on them. And the bathroom was not useable at all. When I checked the original train status, it shows that the train is scheduled
you can send them a legal notice stating the damages caused and asking for compensation followed by a consumer complaint against them if they do not respond in 21 days. for any further assistance or clarification you may get in touch with me.
