Refund of bbmp property tax if paid twice

I have made double payment to bbmp property tax through debit card through Payu gateway. I have email from Payu stating both my payment have been transferred to bbmp account. But bbmp is refusing to refund or even adjust the excess amount for next year tax. They have refused to give receipt/statement for my double payment. They are not accepting my letter for adjustment also. Kindly tell me how to go forward.
You have to issue a legal notice for refund amount which is paid by you excess amount to the BBMP. If failed to you have to file petition before consumer forum. All the best. ... by Chandrashekhar Vithal Jadhav, Advocate.

As i know the payment made by you is not returnable at this time. Please keep the receipts of double payments. Next year on the date of payment, your additional amount will be reflected in the System. For your sake you can give personal notice by RPAD and Keep correspondence.
