Refund of admission fees after resigning the seat

26-Sep-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I am a resident of bihar. I got a private mds seat through upneet first counselling, I paid the tuition fees and got provisionally admitted there. Before joining the college, bihar state result was declared and I was allotted a govt. seat. So I resigned the UP seat before the mop-up round of their counselling. The seat has been occupied by another candidate. But I didn't get my deposited fees back. Please suggest me..

Send a representation since your seat didn’t go waste, but has now been allotted to another candidate. Through this representation, seek refund of your fees. If your fees isn’t refunded despite your legal notice, file a writ petition in the high court

if there is a provision of refund then you are entitled to it. if there is a provision of refund if you resign before the mop up round then there is no problem.
