Online shopping product cancelled after booking what action possible

19-Feb-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)

I ordered some products online at a very low price... They gave me a confirmation email for all the orderes... Now a day later they canceled my all orders saying it was eithere technical error or the product was out of stock... It not only happened with me... It also happened with Many others... Everyone was exited by the offer... Bt they disappointed everyone...nd this is not acceptable to us... The site is just giving offers nd later canceling all orders saying it was a technical issues... Nd we consumers are inconvenienced... Is there any legal action we can take against the shopping site?

Yes you can. Displaying the product with discount is an offer made by the seller, you accepting that and paying for it makes it a contract. So now if there is any breach of contract you can seek damages under the consumer protection act or contract act.

As per my past experience, the online companies generally give a discount voucher equal to the discount when the order is cancelled by the seller as there is no fault of the customer.

You should go to consumer forum and take action against false action, if company gave any offer and you placed order then it is mandatory for them to give you product on offering price, file a suit in consumer forum
