Online education wrong advertisement placed in their website

02-Oct-2025 (In Consumer Court Law)
I have joined a course in a academy in July 2025 but only in the month of September they gave me the online classes and in their website it is advertised that they will provide the learning materials and test series for the students. But now when I ask for the materials after continuous follow up they said they won't provide it for online students. Then they advertised in their website and why they asked me to wait from July month till October. I want refund from them. I paid 25000 rs to them.

Dear Client, 1. Legally, this is a case of deficiency in service and false advertising under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. You can file a complaint in the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission claiming a refund of ₹25,000 with compensation for mental harassment and delay. Keep proof of payment, website advertisement, and communication as evidence. 2. Consult an advocate to discuss your case in brief. 3. You may schedule an appointment regarding your case by phone or email at your convenience. Thanks & regards, Priyanka Advocate Coimbatore
