Money withdrawn from bank a/c using cloned ATM Card
08-Sep-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Using cloned copy of my Debit Card. Rs. 50000.00 were fradulantly withdrawn from my firm Nirvana Consultants’ account at IDBI Bank, CR Park, on 18th May 2019 and another Rs. 50000.00 on next day 19th May 2019. Bank had sent the SMSs regarding withdrawal on 18th May 2019 but that afternoon and further till late night I was terribly busy in arrangements and participation in the Sagai function of my cousin. It was all noisy and chaotic around me hence I could not notice the SMSs. Next day morning on 19th May when fraudulent withdrawals were made again, I noticed SMSs and immediately got the ATM Card blocked. After complaining to Banking ombudsman IDBI Bank credited only Rs. 50000.00 and has refused to pay rest of the Rs. 50000.00.
My appeal for rest of the Rs. 50000.00 has been rejected by Ombudsman and Districts consumer forum. Now I want to file an appeal at state commission. Can someone help?
