This is clearly deficiency in service.
You have remedy to file consumer complaint. The courier company is liable to pay damages whichever you suffered due to their mistake. Fix an appointment and come with all papers.

First ask your bank to cancel or stop cheques contained in the shipment. Then, file a complaint against the courier company before consumer forum for compensation on account of deficiency of services.

Hi,

The courier company is certainly liable for loss bit at the same time you should be able to prove the contents of parcel. Retain the receipt payment receipt as well as acknowledgement receipt. File consumer complaint in competent court.

If a courier company has lost a shipment, legal action can be taken to seek recourse. The first step would be to contact the courier company and inform them about the lost shipment, providing any relevant documentation or proof of the shipment. It is advisable to keep records of all communication with the company. If the courier company fails to provide a satisfactory resolution, the next course of action could be filing a complaint with the consumer forum or approaching a civil court to seek compensation for the breach of contract for the lost shipment.
