Legal action against packers and movers company for non delivery

Respected sir, im a serving defence personal.i have sent a bike from siliguri to my hometown buxar through a packers and movers company...they promised to deliver it in 4 days but 15 days have passed and they have not delivered.whenever i call them they tell that it will be delivered in few days...sometimes they dont attend call or put the phone off...plz tell me what can i do in this case...as i dont trust them anymore..
You can file a suit in consumer forum against them. You can lodge a complain by yourself or through an advocate. As you didn't get the service as promised they have to compensate for the delay.

You can file a case in consumer forum and ask for compensation for the delay in delivering the bike as they have failed their deadlines to deliver the bike.you have to file this case in North Bengal district forum.

You have to file a case in the consumer court of law regarding your issue through an advocate. either you may claim the delivery of the good i.e. bike, in your case or you may want your money back with interest. you must also claim a compensation amount and litigation cost for the same as you have been harassed and have to move to the court for this. even i move matters relating the same type in different courts in west bengal.
