Hi , i just want to know whether any legal action can be taken to fight against this issue or not.So my hostel management , to record the entry and exit of girls,has installed a biometric system , but the problem is this could also lead to breach of our private data because I personally don't believe in security protection of my college,and secondly this is just for girls. We already have a specific in time plus signature , then why this ,(these rules are only for girls,boys can roam at 2am too)
Yes girls can raise this issue, who has this security issue of theft of biometric data.. You have to raise this issue before the college management and write a letter to college and university also.. If issue not resolved thn you can lodge a FIR against the management and also file a writ petition in high court
