Flipkart AC return denied on basis of service commitment breach

hi Sir/Mam,
I bought Carrier AC from Flipkart on 21st May 2020 and I was given date 27th May for it's installation. But Flipkart didn't install it on that date and breach the service commitment and also didn't bothered to inform me about the delay. When I contacted Flipkart on 27th May the customer care gave date of 6th July by which issue will be resolved which was highly unrealistic. As already a sufferer in this and didn't want to suffer more so I requested for return of the product on 29th May. But now Flipkart is not accepting the return saying they are just a platform and the seller is not accepting the return as delay in installation is not valid reason to return. The product is still unopened and I want to return it as I don't need it anymore.
Could you please let me know if case can be filed against Flipkart as they don't take any responsibility for the products or the services associated with it.

a case may be filed against the company for fraudulently selling the AC and then refusing to install the ac. file a case in the consumer forum.

yes u have to file a case of deeficency in service in consumer court asking claim for deficiency of services and compensation with cancellation of contact and refund your money with interest. But it is advisable to give a legal notice through advocate warning them to make your payment or in case failure u will be forced to initiate a legal action against them.
