Consumer complaint regarding low average of car

Can I, as a Consumer, file a consumer complaint against the Car dealership and company for faulty product (the car) as it is not giving me the adequate as claimed in the advertisements, websites and brochures? Can i claim damages or refund? Are there any precedents to support my claim?
you can approach the consumer court only if there is a manufacturing defect in the car and if the car is giving low maintenance due to said defect then only you may be able to claim compensation secondly the mileage claimed by the manufacturers are ARAI certified claims, it is done under test conditions.

Yes, u can file a Consumer Complaint under Section 12 of Consumer Protection Act. If the cost of your car is below 20lakh than in District Consumer Forum, if it id more than 20 lakh and below 1 crore than before State Forum.
