Consumer case against scooter compnay bu i do not own the scooter

I am using an e-scooter that was bought by my friend and registered with the RTO in his name.
Since I am the one using the scooter, can I file a case against 2 wheeler company as a consumer?

You can get an authority letter from your friend and then file a case against the company. Basically, it will help you to sign and appear and do everything on behalf of your friend. This way, the company won’t be able to say that you aren’t consumer as you aren’t the owner.

It is better to file a suit or the case in the name of rhe actual owner otherwise you kust have sale purchase agreemnt with your friend in order to establish that you are the actual owner now. Or else your case will be dismissed.
