Car parking not allowed by housing society

03-Jul-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Hi! My society is not allowing to park my car inside as the car is not registered in my name. Later I provided them with delivery note which says I have purchased the car from the agent and all the details are mentioned. But still they asking me to change the ownership and provide proof of sell of previous car which I had. Why do I need to provide previous car details of sell and secondly is delivery note not enough? And now because of lockdown I can’t even transfer the car in my name. Kindly let me know what I can do next legally.

Sir, how many parking spots have you been allocated in your society and does that spot earmarked with the number plate of your car. Does the Society's bye laws provide for such process that they are following. In the present circumstances delivery note should be sufficient but going forward you would need to get it transferred.
