you can file a suit as well as a complaint case in Consumer Forum for compensation for providing bad food in the flight. It is better you file a complaint case in consumer forum as there is saving of court fees and early disposal of your case then in civil court.

You can sue under the consumer protection act and seek damages and compensation also. But before filing the case, you can initiate a notice to them and file complaint only if needed. You also need to see amount in question that you wish to claim

Nothing stops you from filing a suit or a consumer complaint. The question you should be answering for yourself is whether this issue is worth your time and money to pursue by filing a court proceeding. It may be better if you write to the airline as well as agencies monitoring airline services and follow up on it to ensure that remedial measures ar taken.

Yes you can file a consumer complaint against the Airline Company for serving you the food which is not appropriate for eating. The said complaint will come under the head of deficiency in services. Also in order to file the said complaint you should have some proof evidencing that the inappropriateness of the food. (either in the form of some image or an immediate written complaint to the Flight Crew)
