Bank has given legal notice by court for bouncing cheques issued

I hv purchased new flat with super city dwvlopers at noida ext in 2017 . I took the loan from corporation bank.. As project was approved by bank... builder has given me assurance that till possesion he will bear all installment.. he gave 5-6 emi till july 2017 and stopped emi. Reason telling he has not getting completion from noida auth. And no able to do regisrty of flat... Bank has banked my security cheque and given court summon... i have issued surrender letter to builder as well as bank also year back... Now what shud i do
