Bad service and false advertisement

I joined in tnpsc coaching centre.while joining they told out of 10 books 5 books will be provided immediately and remaining books will be delivered by October 31.but they delivered jan30 just 8 days before the exam.dueto that i can't able to prepare.and my exam paper was not corrected.in the advertisement they told that pdf of every test but they didn't provide and also in the advertisement they claimed that they will conduct 121 test but they conducted only 42 test.can I file a consumer case?

yes it is purely deficiency in service and unfair trade practice committed by opposite party and the complaint filed u/s 35 (1) of cp act 2019. but the complaint filed with in 2 years from the date of cause of action. The beyond 2 years not entitled relief.

s coaching center fails to deliver the promised quality of education, teaching, or other services, it can be considered a deficiency in service, allowing you to file a complaint. consider sending a legal notice to the coaching center, outlining your grievances and demanding a resolution.
