How can I correct it based on my father's caste certificate

So, you will have to go to the office from where you obtained it and they will tell you the exact process and the time it will take for correction. You should apply for rectification in your Caste certificate. You will require to file affidavit and also may be have to make newspaper advertisement.

You have to get an affidavit for the same… and for which i need to know certain details …..such as your age and for what purpose you need such a change? do you need a caste certificate ? If so then for what purpose?

You can approach concerned school and other concerned Authorities/ Education Board etc. who can inform you the applicable documents/ certificates/ procedure required for correction of your record.
