Withdrawl of case through forgery sign can a legal action be taken

We have case in court filed by my father. my father expired and we went to lawyer to withdraw of case because we had a settlement with opposition but my brother not agreed for this...so i put sign of him(forgery)..on case withdrawl papers. will there be any problem? will papers be available in court for long time or they are removed? if my brother knows this and if he files forgery case it will be a problem to me. What should I do now?.
If any one complaint about forgery of signature, you will be booked and punishable up to two years or fine or both. What to do you know now. If situation comes to that stage you contact near by good lawyer.
