Will false information create problem for Police Clearance Certificate

Hello, I have a passport which i issued last year in December. I was in my graduation final year but i was unable to provide residence proof that i lived in pune and not in rajkot *where my permanent address is* and so my travel agent mentioned that i was self employed and my highest level of studies was 12th but now i am a graduate. So will this matter cause problems for my police clearance certificate?
Hi this will make a problem for ur police clearance certificate so now you can change ur passport and address as well as u can show ur graduation certificate as I than it will be easy for u to do police certificate and secondly if u travel anywhere for ur job purpose that time also it will make a problem so firstly change ur passport.
