What to do in case i am unable to pay my emi of credit card

I was unable to pay my emi from two months as i lost my job and couldn't even pay credit card bills from few months and now i got and email from hdfc credit card departmemt saying that ill get legal notice if i don't repay it. What happens now?

Hi,
Due is due irrespective of you are in a position to pay or not it will be in your name and you have to pay it until it is cleared. If you are not paying it in time then you will have to pay it with delay and interest will be added. You will get legal notice that is intimation before filing a case against you, therefore try to clear as their is no other go without clearing the pending amounts .Call us through the website for further assistance.

Give them a reply saying how much time you require to repaying outstanding amount and request them to accept your proposal, if not face them by accepting their legal notice and tell the same thing in the court. then court will give you time.
