What is the time limition for filing revision against order of the lower court in high court under article 227 of Indian constitution?

If the revision is filed against an order, the same can be done under Section 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the limitation period is 90 days, when our clients make more delay in approaching High Court we file it under Article 227 of the Constitution of India and in that cases there's no specific limitation prescribed but the delay should satisfactorily be explained in the petition.
