Wants to know eligibility for OBC non creamy layer

Sir, both of you my parents works as primary teacher in odisha state government. Their annual income exceeds 8 lakh per year though they are not class-1 and class-2 employees. My doubt is that am i eligible for obc ncl or not??

If u searching for govt.job then u can obtained obc certificate for relaxation or reservation for quota but when financial status of your parents are strong then you will not supposed to be in this category... You just clear your intentions... Thank you

Annual income Rs.600000,six lakh for individual OBC non creamy layer.your Father and mother is one family.so your family income is more than six lakh.So u r not eligible.

Hello, In the month of Aug.-2017, the govt. of India have raised the income from 6 lakhs to 8 lakhs to became eligible for OBC. Since annual income of your parents exeeds 8 lakhs in a year, your not eligible for OBC.

In category for creamy layer among OBC's one criteria z "person having gross annual income of more than Rs. 2.5 lakhs or possessing wealth above the exemption limit " will be excluded from quota benefits. So u r not eligible.
