Validity of 2 years first-degree course as per UGC notification 1985

I acquired 02 years first degree course in 1985 from pondichery university.In 1994 acquired Master Degree from Barkutallah university through distance education.Got appointed as GTT in 1990 and subsequent promoted as Post Graduate teacher in 1985.In 2010 got selected as Principal through UPSC. After lapse of 20 years (in 2016) a social worker challenged the validity of 02 years first degree with respect to UGC notification 1985(Minimum Standards of instruction for Grant of Master degree course is three years firstdegree) .Like around 300 teachers community in education department , posses 02 year first degree course and acquired Master degree course. the case is under high court challenging my master degree hence my appointment as Principal please advice.
